Regulator and control knobs

Custom plastic knobs matched to your valve stem

Weilin molds regulator knobs for gas-control and medical gas equipment. Diameter is only the starting point: the bore profile, engagement depth, torque and material determine whether the knob will fit and turn correctly.

The two detailed product pages show the outside geometry and internal drive. A similar appearance does not guarantee interchangeability.

Knob fit check

The stem information comes first

Send a stem drawing or sample with the knob requirements. We can then review the bore, grip and material as one part.

Send knob details
  • Stem profile, spline count or flat geometry
  • Engagement depth and retaining method
  • Rotation direction and required torque
  • Outside diameter and available envelope
  • Resin, color and surface texture
  • Annual volume and inspection method

These pages are for OEM manufacturing programs. They are not a retail replacement-knob catalogue.

Program route

Confirm the interface before tooling

The stem and bore are reviewed together so the sample check has a clear reference.

Send the part information

A 2D drawing, 3D file or physical sample gives us a useful starting point.

Review fit and molding details

We check the interfaces, material requirement, cosmetic faces and production volume.

Confirm tooling and samples

The quotation states the agreed scope. First samples are checked against that scope.

Run repeat production

Inspection and supply records follow the drawing and purchase requirements agreed for the program.

FAQ

Can a plastic knob be matched to our existing valve stem?

Yes. Send the stem drawing, bore profile, engagement depth and expected operating torque, or provide the mating component as a sample. Fit cannot be confirmed from the outside diameter or a photo alone.

Are the 26mm and 37mm regulator knobs interchangeable?

No assumption should be made from diameter alone. The two examples use different materials and internal drive geometry. The stem interface must be checked before selecting or modifying a design.

Can the material or color be customized?

Material and color can be reviewed for an OEM program. The choice depends on torque, environment, appearance, resin performance and the production quantity needed for stable color control.

What information is needed to quote a custom regulator knob?

Please send the knob drawing or sample, valve-stem details, required resin, color, torque requirement, annual volume and any inspection or packaging instructions.
