Dental Consumables Molding

Our First Mold Was a Dental Tray. It Still Runs.

In 1996, a US dental buyer had a problem: impression trays coming off another shop's mold with flash on the edges. A tray with a burr goes into a patient's mouth, so "mostly clean" was not acceptable. Our founder rebuilt the mold, fixed the flash at the tool, and won an order that is still repeating thirty years later.

That job set the rules we still run dental production by:

  • Edges checked by touch. Trays, ejector tips, and scrapers contact gums and tongue. A visual pass is not enough, so operators feel the edges on every batch.
  • Your color, held batch to batch. We match custom colors and check them against the retained standard, because a distributor notices when this month's green is not last month's green.
  • Named resins only. Your part is quoted and molded in a specific grade such as ABS, PP, or PEI, with the resin lot traced on every batch. No silent substitutions, ever.
  • Your brand, our silence. Everything we mold for dental ships under our customers' labels. NDA before you send a file, and no customer names on our site.

Production Capabilities

What 30 Years of Dental Work Builds Into a Factory

Any supplier can claim experience. Here are the specifics a dental brand's sourcing team actually checks: tooling, tolerances, volumes, colors, and the records behind them.

17 Dedicated Dental Molds

Designed, built, and maintained in-house, including the original 1996 tray mold. When a dimension drifts, we correct the tool in days instead of waiting in a subcontractor's queue.

±0.05 mm Standard Tolerance

Down to ±0.02 mm on critical features such as tip orifices and snap fits, verified at first article and monitored through the run.

Micro Parts to Multi-Cavity

Our smallest dental part weighs 0.1 g and runs 8 cavities per shot in carbon-fiber PEI. Cavity count is engineered around your annual volume, and we show you the math.

50,000+ Parts a Month

Dental consumables run on a steady monthly rhythm, and have for three decades. 13M+ parts shipped to the same customer, reordering year after year.

Custom Color Matching

Colors matched to RAL and Pantone standards and verified against retained samples, so your product looks the same in every reorder.

Inspected & Documented

FAI on every new tool, edge and dimension checks per batch, resin lots traced. When your QA team asks, the answer comes from records we already keep.

What Can We Mold for You?

If it's a plastic consumable that ends up on a dental tray setup, we have probably molded something like it. Send a drawing or a sample and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit, including the jobs other shops turn down for being too small or too fussy.

Certifications & Compliance

Documentation That Holds Up in Your Audit

How Dental Customers Qualify Us

Our production runs under ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management, with every dental batch molded in named resin grades and traced by lot. Dental brands qualify us the thorough way: material documentation, batch records, first article reports, and their own supplier audits, which we welcome. One customer has been re-qualifying us this way for thirty years.

Material Traceability

Named resin grades, lot-traced per batch, certificate of analysis available.

FDA / RoHS / REACH Statements

Material-level compliance statements on request, to support your filings and customs.

FAI on Every New Mold

First article inspection report before any production batch ships.

FAQ

Do you mold dental products under our own brand?
Yes, that is most of our dental work. The consumables we have molded since 1996 all ship under the customer's label, and their name has never appeared on our site. We sign an NDA before you send a file, and your competitors will not learn what we make for you from us.
What materials do you use for dental consumables?
Named, traceable grades of ABS, PP, and other resins, chosen part by part. Our impression trays run in ABS, saliva ejectors in PP, and one applicator tip runs in PEI with 12% carbon fiber. Your part is quoted in a specific grade and molded in that grade, with the resin lot recorded on every batch.
Can you provide FDA or biocompatibility statements for the materials?
At the material level, yes. We provide the resin producer's FDA, RoHS, and REACH statements on request, along with certificates of analysis for the lots we run. Tell us the standard your product must meet and we'll confirm grade availability before we quote.
Can you match our product color and keep it consistent?
Yes. We match custom colors to RAL or Pantone references and check each batch against a retained standard. Our oldest dental program has kept the same green for thirty years, and a color shift is treated as a defect, not a variation.
How do you keep edges smooth on parts that go in the mouth?
Two habits, kept since 1996. First, operators check edges by touch on every batch, because a burr you can feel is what the patient feels. Second, when flash appears we correct the mold, not the parts. We can do that quickly because the tooling is built and maintained in our own shop.
What volumes and lead times should we plan for?
Dental consumables suit steady volumes, typically tens of thousands of pieces a year and up, and multi-cavity tooling brings the unit price down as quantities grow. A new mold takes about 4 to 6 weeks, you approve first article samples, and production batches follow in 15 to 25 days. Quotes and DFM feedback come within three business days.
